I still live paycheck to paycheck! Instead of the anxiety of getting all my bills paid, I now feel anticipation and impatience to getting my savings topped up each month! 😂

Looking at the numbers is ONLY stressful when you’re SPENDING more than you’re making. Thanks for sharing.

Personal finance can be stressful because lessons start at home. What conditioning was received from adults is the foundation of the choices made as a young adult. If there was no guidance provided at home or it was stressful then slow down about spending money until money skills can be learned. For example the first place to start might be learning to say “no” to yourself, to others, and to stores. If saying no is not difficult then practice patience. It’s going to take time to acquire whatever you think you’re buying. Are you buying acceptance, self esteem or attention. If you allow time to be your partner or friend, you might find out that by the time you can afford what you think you want, you will no longer want it. Lastly read about how millionaires earn and keep their money. You might find out that they pay themselves first before paying bills. And if impulse control is a factor subtract from your check a one hour wage before the money is deposited into your account. Reach for small goals first and don’t punish yourself when you fall short.

Thank you so much. I came to the reality of my situation several years ago. I planned, became disciplined and with Time and PATIENCE my situation improved. Keep giving this wonderful advice. It’s never too late to make a positive change.😉

1:45 Set a goal(s) - then you to can set clear steps which will make it easier to stay focused on being able to get results and attain your goal(s). ❤ I’d like to add be sure to set short term and long term goals as it encourages you to continue in the plan to reach your goals when you begin to see actual results. Yes there is Power in Planning! Great post ❤ watched it twice 😉

❤❤❤ You are spot on with this one!. Really taking the time to deal with my spending problem. Once that’s tackled I’ll be looking into whether or not what’s coming in is enough to make it and save a little on the side. Struggling to find a side hustle so I’ll probably end up working a side job until I get rid of a significant amount of debt.
