Happy to help! KZbin naturally does that some since they have to distribute literally billions of video, but it also limits video quality for newer channels or those that haven’t yet hit certain metrics as far as consistent uploads, viewer counts, etc. May just take time consistently working on the channel before YT unlocks it for you. Good luck though!

Works. And just dropping a 1080P into a brand new project won't work. Thanks Apple. "It Just Works". Notice how they don't say that any more? ProTip: I made a project called '1080P Header' that has JUST the 1080P 'enabled' by doing the import. Duplicate that project. Use the Duplicate any time you want to make a 1080p project as the starting point. Mine just has my opening splash video and first crossfade transition and that's all.

I don’t blame you for being frustrated. I will say a few months back they pushed an update out that fixed the issue for me, but not everyone can update to it and there may still be edge cases.

Hey Kim, sorry you’re having problems. Try hitting selecting all the items in your timeline and then cutting them out (CMD+X on the keyboard) then drag in your 1080p/4K video clip, then paste everything back in and try again. If you’re still having issues we can try a couple of other things.

Hi Katericata, what do you mean by App Preview videos? You mean like the ones you’d put for apps in the App Store?

Hi, App preview is kind of a workaround in iMovie people use to create vertical/portrait videos. When starting a new project, you can go to the File menu and select New app preview.
