In this video I'll go over how I went from 0 to 100,000 TikTok followers. I’m hoping this can help you guys build a platform on TikTok effectively. This isn’t one of those generic “10 ways to get engagement on TikTok” videos and it’s more centered around the art community. @edgymonke7681 You have to know which continent/countries you have the most followers because they will be the ones who would bring engagements to your content. Then after that choose the late afternoon- evening time in those countries. Noon is also okay because: lunchbreak and people are on their phones.

I started tiktok and my "art" takes me around 30-40h each and it's rly hard to keep vids short but the fact that it can't reach any audience honestly kills me and i think about giving up

Decide what kind of success you want, find people who are achieving that success, and emulate their strategies, research, copy, learn, do, repeat. If the end game is to make enough sales to support yourself, you need to understand the business of Sales and Marketing, and what strategies to use on each platform.

I totally get what you mean I tried the hashtags and showed the process of creating my paintings, I add music. Unfortunately I can only add commercial songs. I do get likes small amounts. I engaged with people's comments. I just don't get enough followers to be able to sell on TikTok live. I wonder if I just create a post on selling my will that work?

Thank you for this, a LOT. I am currently trying to make my own alternate universe to be known, it's basically a drawn comic. Maybe implementing these tips will help me to actually get more than 400 views and 30-40 likes on an average. Honestly I believed I needed some algorithm miracle to be seen, but I myself didn't even comprehend the algorithm fully lmao

How to get engagement on Twitter from what I know is to be in a specific community, use hashtags, and boom. But once it took off people won't care about you if you switch your niche.

The only way to gain (loyal) followers on twitter is if u have a large following already and influence on other platforms. I.e. you are a big yt creator and all ur subscribers follow u on twitter.

Great video! I'm applying a number of your tips you give but the one I'm having trouble with is curating my "For You" page. I've gone into the settings and "Refreshed" my feed; then searched for artists to follow and Liked every art related video that I can find. But when I go back to my For You page all I get is the same cats, babies and political activists that I always get. I don't linger on, like, comment or engage with these videos but they just don't go away and it never gives me art related videos, not even from the artists that I follow. Stick to Instagram and probably a website, this app will make you frustrated and kill your creativity. Fact is average demographic is teenagers and idiots that have only just discovered the internet and that's why staged vids and the like get more attention so just focus on creating...not filming and editing and watching the likes going or not going up.

I tried doing insta and did grow a lot but the app has so many unfixed bugs. All of my accounts have been disabled by instagram for no reason and when I tried to get em back they wouldn’t let me because i had no images of my self on the acc 😭😭😭 Maybe tik tok will be better..

Posting on insta as an artist/editor is pretty much a deadzone. Back then I’d get so many views but the algorithm kept changing and insta was froggy shadow banning 🦸🏽‍♀️ 🤓 I was against downloading tik tok but then tried it and winded up getting more engagement. Idgaf what anyone says, it’s definitely a gold mine to me 💀💀💀
