You are right! These diets aren’t usually sustainable like broccoli in my area is so so expensive but the traditional veggies are super affordable.

I relate sooooo bad to everything you said. in 2020 I was literally STARVING myself. there were days I ate less than 1000 calories. and I mean it worked, I started in march at almost 100kg, and by july I was 78kg, my goal was 75, though I never got there, but I was so happy. unfortunately, the thing was I cut everything out of my diet, and was only eating fiber, and barely any protein, with intermittent fasting (thinking about how I starved for months is crazy). I love rice, so when I started incorporating all the carbs back, I didn’t know about portion control. and I’ve almost gained all the weight back. it’s really not sustainable at all. started again with slowly easing back into portion control and walking. nothing too crazy yet. but so far so good. I’m able to eat what I like, and not go too crazy.

girl ik that must not have been easy, the worst part was dealing with it MENTALLY!! it was acc driving me crazy food on my mind 24/7 analysing every single thing.

I have put myself through the stupidest diets (literally did hard keto twice ffs) and now my body is the heaviest it has ever been. I'm so happy you're saying don't count calories and do diets because counting calories made me so miserable, if i noticed I was running out of calories for the day I would legit force myself to not eat JUST so I still have calorie allowance.

5:30 what youre saying is very true i lost 30 lbs by eating 600-1000 calories for 6 months (june-nov 2022) but by the time thanksgiving (us thanksgiving) came around in november i started eating more and gained it all back by February of this year ive been discouraged since them but i think its time to start getting to a good weight again! Ive lost 3 lbs this week and im planning on losing 27 more!🎉

In my country the cheapest veggies is carrots cabbage kale lettuce sweet peppers sometimes and few other green leaf plants

FOOD IS ENERGY CALORIES IS ENERGY (For your your body. It’s fuel. Esp the carbs. (But I do focus on protein and veg/fruit.))

I would love to know about your workout routine for your weight loss babes (both cardio and strength training) !! Im on my journey and I’m soooo lost when it comes to workouts, I’ve been thinking of getting a coach but they’re very costly and Ngl I don’t have money to finance that 😭 but at the same time I need some structure and support… I don’t know what to do :/
