I got drugged once. I was at a local bar, and it was packed that day. I coincidentally ordered the same drink that a girl right next to me ordered, and we laughed and talked about it for a few minutes. I got up to use the restroom while the drinks were being made, and she turned back towards her friends group. When I came back, there were two identical drinks on the counter, and it looks like she hadn't noticed they were there yet, so I just picked one up and drank it. These drugs act fast. I didn't know my elbow from the webs of my toes 10 minutes later, and by the time you realize something isn't right, it's too late for you to really do anything about it without help. I came in alone. I woke up in the hospital, laying in a bed with an i.v. drip. The bar had cc tv, and a guy walked by and dusted the drink I picked up. I guess the guy thought both drinks were hers, since nobody was sitting next to her, while I was in the bathroom. I got to see myself decline and blank out, smacking my head on the floor, and then getting picked up on a stretcher. They caught that guy, fortunately. Be careful, people.

I used to be a bartender and cocktail waitress before I settled down and I'm not exaggerating when I say this happened every. single. night. to at least one person. We usually managed to catch it before it was consumed, or right afterward. Over the course of 5 years at everything from family restaurants to dive bars I saw it happen to mostly women or men that came alone. Even at a restaurant or really anywhere other than home, I monitor my drinks and food, watch them being made when possible, and stay glued to the side of my family. Be suspicious. It's worth being "rude" to save your life.

A buddy of mine (a dude) got drugged at a bar recently. Luckily he left immediately after downing the drink that was laced so those responsible didn't seem to have a chance to get to him (that we tell, at least). He also called me to pick him up as he was leaving. That's the last thing he remembers though. The next several hours are blank for him. He got real confused and couldn't tell me where he was to pick him up. It's the downtown of his home city that he knew well but kept getting confused as to where he was. Started freaking out pretty good too. Took me nearly 40 minutes to find him. Picked him up and had him start pounding down some water. He didn't appear drunk, he was pretty aware and cognizant. Hand-eye coordination was fine. He could hold a conversation, mostly. Seemed to kinda forget anything that happened more than 10 minutes ago like a rolling memory block. Got him back to his apartment and he didn't recognize his own living room. Kept asking where he was. Four hours or so in, he paused for a moment (he'd been talking through most the night). It was like a fog lifted from his eyes. First thing he said was "How did I get here?". He only ever left his drink to hit the restroom. Crazy stuff. Not a good time. Don't recommend.

I was drugged and robbed. Suggesting someone call 911 really isn’t practical. By the time you start to feel a little loopy it’s too late. You’re already in Lala land. I have almost no memory starting 15 minutes after the one drink I had. Not only that, I was euphoric. I have small flashes of laughing and trying to tell a story. I would not have thought I needed to call the police. If you’re going out best thing to do is tell someone you trust and who knows you well to check on you. That way they can intervene if they suspect you’re drugged. Aside from that just do everything in your power to avoid it, but sometimes that is still not enough.

This means it can’t actually BE spiked because I’m literally drinking it when I open it, if I want water I get a glass at a bar or somewhere else and sit down and enjoy it. I have a strong hunch I was drugged on a first date. Was invited to her home, she offered me a beer. As we're sitting at the table I started to feel weird, very weird. It came creeping in. I can readily recall a rapid heart rate, slightly fuzzy thinking, increadingly heavy breathing and broke out into a sweat. She was not at all surprised by my odd behavior and offered me a spare room. I immediately said I need to step out for some fresh air. Made a lowkey bee line to the front door and stepped out. Put my shoes on out there. She came out and made some reaslly sus comments but I just acted as cordial and embarrassed as possible and left. Still dont know for sure. But it was the strangest experience Ive had in a long while. And I was more than an hour from home. Was afraid to drive, but being in the boondocks I felt compelled. Not even sure about sharing this.. but my gut tells me it was something. And hopefully someone can take something positive from this.

I wish I knew this when I was roofied… I went to a bar with four friends. One of them bought a round for the group, and because the bar was so crowded and I was standing behind my friend group when he ordered, I was the last in the friend group to get my drink. I wasn’t even able to hear what my friend ordered for us, and when I made my way to the counter, there were two full drinks sitting next to each other, both the same color. After choosing one of the two drinks and finishing it, I remember running into my club baseball teammate at the bar who recently broke his ankle. I talked to him about his injury, and then there’s a three hour gap that’s just… missing. No recollection of what happened at all. Apparently in this time gap, my friend group and I went to two other bars. At the one bar, I was later told that I lost my balance while playing pool and knocked a full shot tray out of a servers hands (sorry about that, totally unlike me), and I wasn’t able to get into the second bar. I was in the back of the line in my friend group when we were getting our ID’s scanned at the bar. They all got in and went to the upstairs bar while my ID was being checked and didn’t immediately realize I wasn’t let in. Apparently I just left the bar and walked around town. My friends kept calling me to figure out where I was and what happened, but I just never picked up the phone while I was in this state. I somehow made it home (20 minute walk from the bar), but I had a busted face, black eye, fat lip, and my glasses were missing. Nobody knows what happened to me after I didn’t get let in at the second bar. Went to the hospital the next day and the hospital found Xanax in my urine, which I never take. My friends initially thought I got in a fight, as another friend who wasn’t with us at the bar got in a fight, but didn’t remember who he fought. We later discovered that he and I did not fight (not that we would have any reason to, we were on good terms). To this day, I still don’t know how I busted my face. The upside is that I may have saved a woman from being roofied, and god knows what could have happened to her had I taken the other drink. Moral of the story, if someone buys a round for you and your friends, make sure you know what the round is, and make sure someone can watch the bar counter to make sure nothing is getting slipped into your drink.

0:55 repeated punches doesn't have anything to do with a boxer's fracture. I've had one in my right hand and it came from exactly one punch. A boxer's fracture happens when you don't execute a proper square punch and instead your fist comes in at a bad angle. Your middle knuckle is supposed to take the brunt of the force but if the punch comes in off square and your pinky takes the force then you'll get a boxer's fracture.

Last weekend, I, a male, went to a club with someone I wouldn't regard as my friend but just someone I kinda know. We got to the club around 10 pm. So anyway, the time was around 2 am, and he wanted to go party at a plan B destination about 10 km away. However, I just wanted to go home. By that time, I was kinda drunk, but my decision-making was still okay though. So he ended up leaving me(either intentionally or due to miscommunication). I ended up chilling with these two guys, and we ended up sharing my drinks because I didn't want to go home with any alcohol. The last thing I remember was wanting to request an Uber, and then boom, I find myself outside the club walking on the streets with these two guys. I don't know these guys, and I don't know why my sense of danger was so low. We got to the corner, went to the next street, and that's when they hit me hard with something on my head and I fell, and that's when I realized where I'm at and that I was getting robbed. I quickly got up and tried to chase them but they were too fast. My question is, did I get spiked? Because I just don't understand why I'd leave that club with two guys that I don't know. Otherwise, I'm really thankful I didn't suffer any serious injuries or cuts to my head.

That doesn't mean airheads that get kidnapped too. I mean ones who care about your well being and will atleast notice if you're missing. As rare as that might be today...

I wish the simple answer was 'just say no' .. Criminals and gone-too-far prankers don't usually take that for an answer though.. Don't leave your drink unattended and keep your thumb over the bottle. If someone you don't trust pours you a obligatory drink, switch em when they aren't looking.. voila, you get to go home, they get a free trip to the ER, and a lesson learned

Or... Ya know get it sealed. It's a lot harder to drug a sealed container with a safely seal than a solo cup for example. As for me, I might want to consider in that case having them in the first place.

In places like 🇨🇴Colombia,🇨🇴 Burundanga is what locals might call it. A man helped his burglars empty his place. His doorman said that he claimed to be moving out, but the man remembered NOTHING!! The door man said, "You were a lady and two other guys. You said they were your lady and her brothers. " Stay from ladies of the night fellas. 👀👀👀👀 JS
