i actually added a mesh between the iris and the cornea (the cornea being a glass shader, and the iris generally the colored part of the eye). So my eye itself doesn't has much texture information, I wanted to try something else: i added a mesh between the two, and on this mesh i applied a shader that is a bit translucent, by tweaking the refraction and sss amount, and so i created a kind of translucent zone as if the eye was filled with it I don't know if it's clear what i just said

Hi, I follow your step in 31:18, but when I export to maya, why my uv become overlap into one uv space? (I mean they are sharing same uv's space, but I am sure I sperate them before) .thanks
