Thank you so much mate, I just followed your video on my shifters that arrived today and I was successful :O shifters actually work on my old Universal HUB :) couldn't be happier. Now I just need an adaptor to fit the extra carbon fibre formula paddles to my Formula V2 rim. Do you have any ideas for that?
@alessandrozucchiatti68142 жыл бұрын
thanks for the video, modification made today, made me kind of see that in reality the only connected wires are those two, the others are all interrupted, if you had cut a little more up you would have joined the cables from the original ones of the switch which are green and black in color and have a slightly larger diameter

@f1ethan3434 жыл бұрын
TyRacing88 or an adapter so it can work with the thrustmaster ecosystem
@tylahrs4 жыл бұрын
F1 ETHAN no that wouldn’t work because the tmx is not compatible with the tm ecosystem also there already is an adapter for the ecosystem. Basically with the tmx ur not supposed to take the wheel off and to take it off I think the process is kinda similar to taking off the g29 wheel

I plan to make a DIY wheel for my moza base with these shifters. thinking about buying a 1" aluminum wheel spacer, machine the needed flat and threaded holes to mount these shifters, and then wire them into a arcade style USB button hub.

So this is also applicable to any DIY wheels if im getting it right? Most boards use 2 pin/wire connections for buttons so one would only need to design their own back enclosure to be compatible and positioned correctly with the fanatec shifter?

I Just bought a Simube copy off Aliexpress for my Formula Carbon before reading the compatibility chart, I assumed it was because of bolt hole spacing that it wasn't compatible because I knew it was just a microswitch so can't be that, But then I noticed it was because of the connector, So all OK now, But what threw me was what or were do the other 4 cables go.

Only thing i dont understand. Why you measured the wires at the start? Because when you cut it at the middle there where only 2 wires left? This does mean that you also can use this shifter on every DIY Steering wheel. Am i correct?
@Taakeheim4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, 2 wires only. Standard switch. As long as you can make a way to fasten them, they can be used on any wheel.
