HOW TO: Add A Bandsaw Height Extension

How to add the Delta Height Extension block to your bandsaw. This attachment allows you to saw 12" or height as opposed to the stock 6". Great attachment, for around $100 you can really expand the capabilities of your machine. Watch as I install mine and learn some pointers along the way.

The bolt is the long threaded part, the short hex shaped piece is called a nut. LOL! Just pointing that out. Nice upgrade though!

Next time flip the bolt over and put the nut on the top. Then you can use the wrench on the nut. Exactly what I did. The block doesn't care.

Good deal. Hey, I see the motor on there is different from the stock motor. What size is on there? Mine is a harbor freight model with a 1 horse motor, and I want to upfit it with a riser block and a 2 or so horse motor. thoughts?
