How to Add a Dropdown List in Excel

You can add dropdown lists to your cells in Microsoft Excel. First, select the cell you want to apply the list. Then select Data and Data Validation. Select List as your validation criteria. Once you have your list, you can add whichever fields you like on it. This method works for Microsoft Excel 365, 2021, 2019, 2016, and 2013.
