What about, if you could squeeze one more lead to pair with the blue wire and drill a small hole in the bottom of the mirror. And mount a single led on top of the hole, not into the hole drilled. That way you can have just a touch of light, where at night. There would have enough light for the console, and the area around. To be able to see where things are, if you want to grab something. If you was grabbing for a lighter, and you reached for it, and it shifted over to where you didn’t grab it. But a glance would have it visible. It’s so little light that it’s not noticeable, until someone is riding with you and as they are reaching for something and they look down at the perfect time for the ever so faintly light, is illuminating their hand justice right. I have enjoyed a light on my consoles as long as I can remember.

@@johnsimun6533 Drilling holes in a Gentex mirror results in catastrophe - ask me how I know!! But nothing's stopping you from gluing an LED to the outside of it. You could even wire it into the dash lights!

@@CertifiedShadetree I had a Graphite 17 LT with the sun/sound and convenience. Several years ago, it was the happiest car I’ve ever owned. Press on the Explorer’s gas. It stops pulling as hard, sort of like asking are you sure you want to? Another second or so, still not pulling as hard as it was before I pressed the gas down. It was like, you really want to go, don’t you? Then another second or so. The Explorer was like, well ok, if you insist. Then the rear would squat, and the front would rise into the air, accompanied with the Colone 4.0 releasing its burbly growl, as the rpms slowly climbed. Press on Lil Whezzys gas pedal. LETS GET GOING. YAY! You noticed the rev hang when you first drove your Cruze? I would dig in the turbo, to slide to the next lain and slide back, to get around someone, and other quick moves. I would plan the moves, which I was used to doing, because I was accustom to doing because of old heavy suvs with brakes that were strong, but not quick. The rpms would climb, then it would start pulling, then switch two or three times. When I would release the throttle, and it would keep the rpms up, where boost would be built some, or close to building boost, where it would be ready. Such a happy car. But I think mine was in the middle of the front map lights. I test drove a LS for a week, and it took over a month it’s a tinny little square, , peeping through the lens for the map lights. Do you have it on your LS? That was my idea. Great video

@@CertifiedShadetree I got to get it back out of the shop, again. The coolant system again, and the the brakes after I got it back from the shop, along with running rough. Dropped the SS back off at the shop today. I pulled the dome light and left the map lights along with switching the incedess for leds. Man I love Chevys.
