How to add a texture in blender 3.3.1(Blender Tutorial) Beginner

for beginners like me, before you do something, go to EDIT/PREFERENCES/ then in the search "nodes", you will find "Node wrangler" and activate it, save the preferences, then when you can apply the node textures ;P

Great tutorial however I think it will simplify things if you explained what "cntrl + shift + T" is a shortcut to. There is a multitude of reasons as to why "cntrl + shift + T" is not working like Mac vs PC or an improperly set up keyboard. I had to replace my keyboard on mac & none of my short cuts work as they are supposed to. Great tutorial so far but I'm stuck with "cntrl + shift + T" not working.

you have to go to edit > preferences > add ons > and then search for node wrangler. check that and then you can press ctrl + shift + t. don't forget to select the principle bsdf first before you press it

You should mention this tutorial is for high resolution texturing, no optimization at all for example for mobile gaming which requires a more optimized method... still it was a helpful video, thank you

You Need to add an add on. Go to the top and Click on edit, then Go to preferences, then to add on, and search for node, then check the box for Node: Node Wrangler. If done everything should work like the video intended.
