Hello, i have an issue where in the weekly overview instead of summing up all things in a category for the specific week, it only displays the amount for the day shown as the beginning of the week example 12 - February- 2023 instead of the whole week. Thanks so much for another great tutorial! I want to try making a sheet that also tracks how much I've spent from each bank account/credit card. Are you able to make a tutorial for that too? Hi Deborah! Im having issues with the income dashboard tab, ive downloaded the "Expense + Income Tracker 2.2 (Monthly and Weekly Overview - All Categories Included!)" and when i place the income from workplace 1 it doesnt register in the April 2021 Income Dashboard. >.

When I change the start of the week from Monday to Sunday, I lose my data from the expense spreadsheet. But when I change it back to starting on Monday, all my data from the expense spreadsheet returns. Any ideas on how I would fix this?

Hello Deborah, what will be formula sum range date par example expense tracker, only sum days 1 to 7 week or biweekly 1 to 15 only sum expense this date? Sum amount, sum expense this categrory (groceries), and date... formula range sum between date begin 1 and date end 7... ? Formula for biweekly and weekly

If I copy the sheet, it either copies the income form or the expense form. Both of them dont happen at the same time so I have to keep deleting the forms and sheet. Is there any work around?

Love the videos. Having issues with the WEEKDAY formula. I've entered it over and over and it doesn't seem to want to work. It's reading my expenses and income spreadsheets, but it only sees the dates I have listed. For example, I have income for "01/01/2023" and "01/03/2023." My week starting starts on "01/01/2023." The income for that date shows up, but any dates between 1 and 8 do not show up. If I replace 01/03/2023 with 01/08/2023, it reads that. So to recap, it's reading my spreadsheets, but it only recognizes the beginning of the weeks, even though I have copied the formula exactly. I made all of the dates the same format as well.

If your week starts on Sunday (i.e. 1/1/23), try changing the weekday part of the formula to WEEKDAY($B2,1)+6) instead of ($B2,3)

Don't know how well it works, but I added another criteria to the formula since it kept doing this too. [Expenses!$A$1:$A1006, "="&$B2] takes values from all the dates > or = B2, this new criteria should take all the dates < B3, so it doesn't add everything > B2 to the cell. Hope it helps!

Hello I downloaded your updated tracker to 2.1 and I change the weekly overview to sunday instead of monday. After that all expenses never read on the weekly overview. How to fix this? I want it sunday. :(

Shift all the dates 1 day back! So if the date was 2nd jan, change it to 1st of jan. Do it for the rest of the dates :)

Hi Deb, for the weekly overview. I altered the formulas to follow my bi-weekly paycheque. It's working fine but I don't understand why my categories per week are being highlighted red when the biweekly budget is higher. Mind you the biweekly (weekly) budget does not have any formulas attached to the actual categories (so Idk why my categories are being highlighted red. My monthly over view page is translating fine and is only highlighting red when over my set monthly budget. @@estellebaruel5701 I think its still the same formula(like above if using biweekly, like Deb's if weekly), you just have to input your own biweekly/weekly dates as you see fit

hey deborah, i was using your tracker for a while now but suddenly the responses from the from stopped apearing in the google sheet. i unlinked and relinked, but it only created a new response tab. do you know how to fix this?

It resolved itself for me! No need to link or unlink the sheets. It looks like it the responses were just slightly delayed by a couple of minutes. I think Google's systems may be a bit slow.

@debbbag What would be the formula to use when you get paid bi-weekly and your "pay-week" starts on a Monday. Everything else works fine when adding expenses but things in the cells start turning red due to putting income in every week so they think i have no funds.
