question you have a 52 volt battery and when fully charged it's like 58 volts that battery isolator switch you linked to is 50V DC. 75 Amps intermittent, 50 Amps continuous can the switch handle it can it hurt it ? or should I buy another switch
@UncleFjester3 жыл бұрын
I'm using he switch linked with no issues at all

@@UncleFjester thank you so much for the quick reply I will be adding a switch to my second battery on my radrunner… also thank you for the auxiliary battery box idea subscribed… have a 48 volt 20ah battery in a box on my rack and the stock battery that came with it 48volt 14 ah I get 50 to 60 mile range little to no pedaling (I only pedal up hills or when taking off to help it get up to speed) I weigh 220 pounds and average 18-20 mph

genius! have you thought about heat management? when LION batteries are charging/discharging, they get hot, and that can be really dangerous. also, batteries are part of the entire battery management system, and if those aren't matched correctly (better yet integrated at design) that LION WILL catch fire, and that can be extremely dangerous. that's why the scooters on amazon were blowing up and catching fire a few years ago. amazon finally cracked down really hard on that. if you can find a way to get me an email, i'll tell you how i know this, but i don't want to do so publicly. i do think i can help you with this though, if you like. i just want to help make this safer.

I thought this is a great idea for safe storage on the bike when locked, but then I realized someone ould tark the whole back rack, so you have to run a lock through the rack... At least a place for a helmet and such things, I am not in a really high crime area. Good idea in any case.

@@UncleFjester just bought the 52v 20ah (200-1500w) top brand cell batt , xt60 connectors, battery isolator disconnect cut off, and I got wire just got figure out the harness I guess seems a lil scary now but im sure ill under stand it more when its in front of me. thanks for the video
@onelovek53 жыл бұрын
ok just watched a video on how to connect batteries in parallel so now I feel much more confidant in making the harness, your the man @uncle Fjester
@UncleFjester3 жыл бұрын
Simple, split the XT60 connector in the tube, Red+ Black- all the way to the new battery. Put the Switch inline on the Red+ wire. If you get confused leave a comment or email me.

Hey uncle, quick question.. Can you just install this one and not use the original that came from Juiced?
@UncleFjester3 жыл бұрын
Hey Kauldron, Sure you can, you can even remove the stock battery to save weight .
@manny39183 жыл бұрын
@@UncleFjester Thanks, my juiced battery died after one year and now they have have the battery listed at 1,299 on their website lol. One more question, what do you do with the switch? I see you put it in the box and didn't plug anything to it.
@UncleFjester3 жыл бұрын
The switch is a disconnect (On Off) for the Aux battery. It wires in line on the + or Positive wire. Much the same as the green switch on the Stock Junk Battery. $1300 is Fjuckin Robbery and should be reported to the Police! 🤣🤣 E mail me if you need exact details or have questions. unclefjester on G mail
