Very nice setup.

Basically the compressor will work harder which is why they size the motor ;compressor and tank sizes to work together. All compressor have a expected working life in hours which is much lower on airless.

Hi..i have two aircompressor 2hp(belt) with tank capacity 100Liters..the question is..how to combine two compressor for one way use?
@jeremylongino8 жыл бұрын
do you think it works just as good as a regular 60 gallon compressor? How often does it go off?
@nef0038 жыл бұрын
it works very well. It goes off less than with its original tank! but it does take longer to fill since it's double in its capacity. It's a great setup. specially since I can remotely move the extra tank.

nef003 will adding another tank cause faster wear and tear on the motor because it will stay on longer building more heat on the motor. or will it be the same being that it will not kick on so much.
@nef0037 жыл бұрын
In my opinion I think it will make the engine last longer since; once it is filled (given that there are no leaks) it will take longer to kick back on. Before the dual setup the tank used to turn on every 2 minutes or so when using a single power tool. Sometimes staying on for quite a while when used simultaneously when filling up. I would imagine that 3 tanks would make it better. If I were to do a 3 tank setup, I would have a valve lever and let 2 tanks fill in first while the 3rd tank stays closed. Once the 2 tanks are filled, I would allow the engine to cool for a bit and then open the third tank. Once all the tanks are filled, they can stay open. :) Tada! problem solved. Hope that helps.

Ron Dizon I go to college at TSTC Waco,Tx. The diesel shops only have 1 compressor but another big tank for extra air in a completely different building. The compressor is extremely old and still going strong.

@@markarmstrong3394 awesome I wanna add a 170Litre tank to my 50 Litre Hyundai compressor it has two 750w motors do u think it would fill it up well

Regulators fail. If I were you I would add a pop off valve on the 125 psi tank

Shiny Knife , agree . Safety first .

Is that a braided flex line feeding into the 2nd tank? I'm not 100% sure but that doesn't seem safe especially over a long haul. Shouldn't hard or soft copper pipe be used? I need to connect a 2nd tank as well, I just want to be certain and make the right choice in connecting plumbing/fittings/hardware.

If braided lines are used for hydraulic pumps which can hold over 5k psi. Wouldn't you say the braided lines are safe enough for 125 psi? Besides, this works well with my setup due to mobility. Almost 2 years and its working quite well.
