How to Add an Events Calendar on Your Facebook Page

Like others, I would love to see an updated video- specifically, I'd like to know if I can add a calendar to a fb GROUP that I admin!

Juanita: thank you for the informative info on setting up an event calendar with this ap. Your instructions were very concise and easy to implement. One question I have is, as follows: we want to setup an events calendar on our community page - so the community can see what's going on throughout the region. If they use this "events calendar" ap, then do the end users have to turn on the aps platform on facebook to see the events entered into the "event calendar" ap? A lot of users turn off the aps platform, so they don't get barraged with spam ap messages, in which case this application would not fit our needs. Thank you for your reply and we wish you many successes.

Hi Juanita, this was very helpful. However, I'm with a group (band) appearing at multiple venues. I was once asked to 'LIKE' someone's page and the group had a listing of all their up coming events without the full box month calendar format. IMO It was classier. Therefore, my question is; where might that kind of format/ layout be on Facebook. Thanks...

Hi Juanita, is there a way to remove the Events option as my company says that there are no upcoming events. The company has events, but do not want them advertised on Facebook at present. Thanks, K.

@sluggo7 I had the same problem. Type in "events calendar" but don't hit enter and the click "see more results for events calendar". Then click on the "event's calendar" that has 7,000+ likes, not the one that say's "60,000 monthly users". Click the button that says "Add event's calendar to my page". Enjoy!

the above link works. If you get a message that says it's not available, go to the web address bar and delete the square that got added to the web address when you clicked. The event calendar link page should come up, then click on the "Go to App" button where the arrow points

I want to add a calendar to my church page for which I am the admin. Your first step is to click on the edit button which I cannot locate. I have Windows 7 and use Internet Explorer. Is there another way to get to the second step?

This video is old but there is still an events calendar app for the computer. Diana, you're right -- not for the mobile phone. Many apps limit their functionality on a mobile phone. Can anyone help me get a calendar on to my Facebook Group page? I get the following message from Event Calendar: June 4, 2015 · Facebook has changed their API and broken our app. Because this is a free app by a single developer, it is unclear when I will have time to update it to their new platform... I have installed the calender on facebook and it works fine on the computer. But when I try to find the calender on facebook on the mobilephone I can't find it. Can that be right, Juanita McDowell?

Looked and sounded great, but that app appears to no longer be available. Searched both within my page -> Edit Page -> Update Info, and on fb's App Center; tried variants "events," "event's" and "event." Most search results are junky birthday calendar apps. Zuck drives me nuts.

Juanita McDowell yes it still works, thanks. Yes,the App is a little hard to find and you need to approve the App under your personal profile. Before you can add to your page. like your video said. again thank you.

Juanita McDowell Its ridiculous....that link only goes to Facebook "GAMES". I can't seem to find ANY Facebook apps anymore. Is it really JUST games now??!
