I just installed this in 2015 Toyota Corolla LE and physical setup was easy, thanks! The minor issue we're having now is screen calibration --the screen is slightly skewed inward to the left and there's no way to calibrate it. Also, where do we go for updating the system?

I’ve seen this issue on other vehicles as well and I don’t believe there exists a way to fix it at the moment, sorry about that. As for updates, CarABC provides them On their website as necessary but you shouldn’t really need them

Do you still have the original functionality with this? I mean can you "not got to car play" and use the unit as before? Like checking fuel consumption, or bluetooth connectivity, FM or AM radio or CD player.

Yes absolutely! You can exit CarPlay just by pressing a button and go straight back to the normal infotainment functionality.

This particular model is made for most 2014-2019 Toyota vehicles. If you are looking for a model for your 2021 Polo Vivo I don’t believe CarABC makes one at the moment, although I do believe many Vivo models came standard with CarPlay and Android Auto in 2021.

It is in fact compatible, but make sure it is an Entune 2.0 or Touch 2 system.

If you have the radio on before you launch CarPlay, it will continue to play in the background while CarPlay runs

yes there is a setting you have to switch the camera to OEM instead of aftermarket.

Certain specific software is only allowed to show up on carplay, it's not up to us to decide, but the waze navigation system you mentioned is allowed.
