Thanks for making a video on my script :) I just updated it to translate from any language to English. There do seem to be a few bugs I can see in this video that I wasn't aware of 😂 Btw, if you change the template Text+ in the media pool after generating the subtitles (like you did in the video) then you can just click "Revert all changes" and it will update the subtitles with the latest changes (I know this button is a little confusing).

Sadly it doesn't seem to work and the automatic install function got removed. It's listed in davinci resolve but never shows the popup. Update: Accoding to the dev from his youtube video. The v2 function will come for mac on 22th november and Windows on 24th november.

Good luck getting the plugin to work. I wish I could get it to work. No help in the Discord either . . . That said, whisper does give me a transcript and I get to insert all the subtitles manually. Really slow, but whisper does save quite a bit of work. For that part, I do thank you!

Try using the timecode of the timeline starting by zero, so when it goes and doubles the time, the double of zero is zero!

it's free! and it creates subtitles as Titles on a video track instead of on the dedicated closed captions timeline. so it's much more flexible with styles/animation

Hey! does this only work if your using a "Text+" for your subtitles and Not a normal "Text" for your subtitles?? I'm having trouble trying to get this to work, For some reason when I use a Normal Text ( Which is what I mainly use ) it transcribes it fine on the Transcribing Tab but on the actual timeline it doesn't add the subtitles at all and just repeats one word over and over. you can click you audio track go to timeline one top left next to clips and select create subtitles from audio

Im' unlucky (what a news :-D ) the script installed itself correctly. But when I fire it into DaVinci it doesn't start at all ... EDIT: the issue was solved. The author gave a great support. Many of use we had the same issue.

@@d.i.d because YT doesn't let me post links, just to help you: the issue is called "It doesn't start". I had to manually install Python package because the autoinstaller didn't properly made it. The author is remaking the autoinstaller. However I hope the version 19 will have this feature already built in.It's asked form long ago.

As a DVR newby is it possible to save the text file as some sort of template for future projects in the free version? I'm creating subtitled videos of old TV shows for my hearing impaired mom. So it would be nice to use the same subtitle style and formatting for each episode automatically rather than have to manually customize the subtitle formatting every time I want to generate subtitles.
