How to Add Channel 4 SD channels to a Humax Freesat HD box now 104 is HD with "no signal" message

Thank you for the information. I’ve been experiencing issues ever since channel 4 made this change, I struggled for some time to find an explanation as to why Channel 4 had stopped working like this. What I’m unclear on is I used to get Chanel 4 HD perfectly fine when this was allocated to a different channel number, I’m unclear why this is now not possible now that it’s been allocated to channel 104.

Freesat used to be allocated to just one C4HD region, London. Nice and easy to receive. Now, you will have been allocated one of 6 C4HD regions, of which the new five regions are tricky to receive.

@@SatTVGuy thanks again. Reading the video description, it sounds as though we should investigate getting a larger dish and or realigning it then.

Add C4HD London to your box...if you got it before , then you will still get it...either change your Freesat postcode to London (but this may mean you lose your ITV1 HD on 103, as ITV1HD London is a very weak signal), or add C4HD London to your box in non Freesat mode (use freq 11126 22000 V)

@@SatTVGuy thanks again. I didn’t seem to get a notification for your reply but I figured I would try and change the postcode to a London one as you’ve suggested (Downing Street to be precise). I then was able to edit the itv and bbc channels back to the respective local variants in the settings on my box. All working again and saves me having to mess around up the ladders trying to realign the dish. Thanks again for your help!

Wow. Wonder if I can do any of this on my Panasonic OLED freesat tv. I’m off to investigate, as CH4 (104) has been weak ever since; but I think Film4 (standard def) is struggling too, since before Xmas. It affects my Panasonic BR recorder too.
