this helps A LOT, im working on a thumbnail for a web comic, and i wanted the face to be distorted, and had no idea how i was going to do that, thought i was going to have to do it by hand, fortuinatlly there are people far smarter and better at drawing than me, so i dont have to be cursing the whoie way through.

Usually it makes more dispersion further edges of lens and mid point of lens is crisp since light travels straight and c.a. is more seen on edges. But it depends if you are creating c.a. for artistic point of view or photorealistic view. Same way of approach but instead of moving, use camera raw filter and lens distortion.
