CAn you explain how to create the green screen movie? Can you just do a green photo? Record a green wall?

Ohhh great question. Here’s how I do it. Grab a color in Final Cut Green squares under “solids” Drag that to timeline which will automatically creat like a 5 sec clip. Then just extend that to 1 hour and 30 minutes Then export it and save as a video Then drag to GARMIN VIRB and cut it down there since 1:30 is likely longer than you’ll need but then you only have to do this part once.

Green screen tip is killer!! However, my data overlays are poor quality (super blurry) when I key them over my footage (4K).. any tips?

Interesting. Never had that. Maybe something to do with rendering the full resolution vs proxy. Make sure it’s coming out of VIRB at 1080 too. Glad it was helpful Overall tho Eric. Let’s see some videos!

Maybe I'll give this a shot on my next video. Been following norcal's tutorial and I do feel like I have to sync each chunk of gopro to the power file and you seem to have been able to avoid all that. Or maybe you just do it later in the process.

Sync once for the whole race (assuming you don’t turn the camera on/off) and then once you create the compound clip no more worries about lining things up
