How To Add Fog And Dreamy Glow To Your Photos Using Lightroom Classic

In this Lightroom tutorial, I will show you how you can add a dream glow and fog to your photos using Lightroom classic. We will be using the clarity slide up to create a soft glow effect as well as using the masking tall to add in fog. This is a great effect if you want to reply to more rural, environmental portrait photos.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do this but color th gradient? So if I wanted to do this but with a pink glow/gradient and such?

yes it is possible! go to the masking tool; select your tool.. so in this place the linear gradient. And go to your colors/tones where you can mess with vibrancy, hue, saturation, color gradient, etc.. 🫶🏾 I know I’ve done it but I’m speaking on memory lol so I hope that’s correct 🤞🏾

I used the texture to soften the skin, however, when I try to use the linear gradient it continues to show the negative number I used to soften the skin. Any help on separating those so I can adjust the texture independently from each other?

I would say it’s more of a haze, if you want fog learn photoshop. But this is a good little tip for adding a soft follow in lightroom
