How to Add Free Font Awesome Icons to GIMP

Gimp is growing and incorporating new features. I remember the first time I had contact with the software in 2009, and it seemed very strange, with separate panels and very limited features. Things happen with the limitations inherent to a project developed by the community, but there are advances and I hope that soon Gimp, which is already good, will become better.

In the Gimp program, the scale tool does not always select parts of the image that are outside the file. Why is that? How can I fix this.

Please tell me if it is possible to change the themes, otherwise all the buttons are the same color.

One more tip to avoid frustration. The letter spacing in 'tool options' in the font select box has to be set to 0.0 to make this happen!
