Can you help? I put the epoxy and in the corner where it dips in the center around inner sides but it runs down into center so it doesn’t start on the side. Any advice on keeping epoxy on inner sides?

When I done my tray and went back next day I notice the epoxy didn't stay on the sides it all ran to the middle of the tray. Why is that ? I used the mid podge
