Is it possible to export the gps data? I want to edit with my computer

There is an Insta360 app for PC and mac so you can use it to edit the files for the videos. Sorry for the late response.

@@NikolaTubeNikolov but the data IS registered on the phone app, probably you only can add It using the phone editor if you dont have a gps device

@ yes you need a GPS enabled device connected while recording the video. It can be a mobile phone or another device. I think Garmin is supported. Insta360 also have a dedicated watch like device with screen that can be used. Apple Watch works too. Then after you record the video you can connect the camera to a PC or mac computer and use the Insta360 studio to edit the video. I’ve done it and there are several videos like that on my channel. Just search for bike races.

hi nikola , while im recording on the insta 360 , do i have to carry my phone with me for GPS overlay ? or is it that i just have to activate the settings in the phone app and then it will always work ?

You have to carry it and the app must be running and connected to the camera.

can I lock the screen on the phone after I set it up started the app etc and put into my pocket? I want to us it for skiing. thanks

I think it was possible to do it but I haven’t tried it on latest software. Make sure to start the recording from the app. Also I use iPhone and don’t know for Android devices? However you can use an Apple watch too. Insta has app for the watch that can supply the GPS data.

hey buddy, i did what you said but my GPS Stats lag and the speed and stuff don't match exactly witht he video, How do i fix it and make it match?

when you start editing video there is a control to adjust the position of the gps track towards the video. I have to check to see what it was called.

It won't let me select the regular garmin connect only garmin connect (mainland china) but that is the wrong one
