Jordan, Thank you so much for your comment. ❤️ When I recorded this video 4 months ago I would have said sadly no that Facebook took away the reoccurring function. To have a monthly event, you will need to duplicate the event for each month. BUT GOOD NEWS! I played around with it today and you can create reoccurring events again! YIPPI!! I appreciated your workaround and it did work last week but this week when I try it I am presented with the create event page that does not allow me to customize the event. I do social media for my church which has lots of recurring events but not weekly, more monthly and biweekly so this is a big setback for us. I have read that I can go back to the old Facebook pages but that I will lose all my content that I have established with the New Facebook pages. Can you help or am I just stuck?

Margaret, that is so frustrating! Can you explain more by what you mean by "does not allow me to customize the event"? If you are talking about creating multiple events, check out this video I did where it shows how you can create reoccurring events - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWXLiZlvea9_g80. There use to be a "custom" in the reoccurring options and that was taken out. If you need a timing that Facebook does not have, then duplicating the event and changing the date might be the best option. Please let me know what you think about the other video and if it helps at all with likes and comments. Thanks!

Thanks. I know that I could do by duplicating the event. What about if I have new businnes page and cannot duplicate any event, since I did not have any yet on this page. I have one class on 4 diffrent days and times.

Gregg Gregg, Thank you so much for your question. ❤️ I played around with this for a while and thought I had a solution for a second there. In the end, I could not find a way to take an event that is on one page and duplicate it on another. I was able to take an event that was posted on Rachel Boone Consulting (facebook.com/RachelBooneConsulting) and make TriLeaf Designs (facebook.com/TriLeafDesigns) a cohost of it. I then found a button to add the event to TriLeaf Designs' events. I was hoping I could duplicate it from there. Sadly, the event never showed up in the TriLeaf Events no matter how many times I clicked the button to add it to the TriLeaf Events. That would have been the only way (that I could think of) to then duplicate the event within the new business page. I think your best shot is to create a new event on the new business page and open the old event on the old business page and copy and paste the information over. Then, you would be able to duplicate the event to create other events on the new business page. If you found another solution, please let me know. I'm sorry that I was not able to find a few-click solution for you. Please let me know if anything else I can look into for you or any way I can help.

I followed your instructions and was able to add multiple dates, but now I have to adjust the time on one and I can't get to a spot where I can edit that piece. Help! Please.

How do you edit the Event Schedule after it has been saved - I changed my event date and the schedule still show the original date and time with no option to edit - Do you have a workaround for this? Thank you. I just subscribed.

David Merritt, thank you so much for your question ❤️. Sadly, the schedule function is something that can not be changed. You only receive the schedule option when you duplicate a event. What you would need to do is duplicate the event and create another one with the new date. If you do not want to loose all the linking that was created to the first event, you can write on the original event that the date has changed (within the title, description, and post a comment) with a link to the new event. I love the schedule function and wish that Facebook made it a standard feature on all events! And that they allowed it to change because anyone who has done a large events knows, schedules change! If you have a large event I have found that creating a group for the event and then having each scheduled item be an event in that group works well. Darleen Miller. Unfortunately you can not open a canceled event. There are things you can do to make the remaking of the event easier. I created a video specially for you. Frustrating "How-to" video ever, drone on and on... get to the point please! also the multiple screens in the video makes it hard to see what your doing, is it necessary to have a video of your self on there for a "how-to" video?
