So I did a not so smart move this weekend. I relocated my media stuff tested the live stream made sure it worked. But this morning I got daring and decided to create an event with out really doing a test run. So of course as service began the go live button never came up. I eventually got the video to play but I ended up creating a new stream on the fly but one that was using the same steam key as the 1 for the event. Reading comments looks like folks have said the reoccurring option

Is gone but it looks like it may be back but with more settings. May be we can get and updated video of you doing the set up.

Here is my question. Once you create this reoccurring event and it's start broadcasting, can the information be overwritten and updated each week? Normally, I'll click go live. then change the information on who's preaching along with weekly sermon/scripture. I hope this is clear......

On my page, I do not ever see the "recurring event" button. Anybody know why that is? Or did they take this away from me?

Facebook removed it. Not sure when they plan to restore it

Wonder if this would eliminate most of our frustrations with Facebook. We stopped streaming on FB early this year and have only been streaming on KZbin because it just works, FB was always giving us trouble. Does this mean we could set this up as you showed and theoretically never go back to any of the settings pages again (for the next year anyway) and it just works? Everytime OBS goes live at that time, it'll just automatically start working without us having to login and click anything on FB?

Technically that is how it should work. I set this up with New Hope for this very reason
