There's an alternative mod where you can add any music without replacing it (But you have to add old music by yourself) It's called XNFS Music Player

Yeah, but this has limited that song name, artist and album must be same length as originals, so this is limited method. I found another way, but it's actually more complicated and it doesn't replace songs. You will create own playlist w/ VLC and done.

I just downloaded the Black Edition of NFS MW I found here (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXm6kI1phMaNo7M) which comes with a night mod and to my surprise, an 86 Corolla exactly like Takumi's, just like the one in NFSU 2. And to my even bigger surprise, when I was browsing through the vinyls at the in-game shop, under the "Unique vinyls" section there was the "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" vinyl, with black hood and everything! That definitely made my day lol

Great tutorial! My only problem is that the settings I set in the "EA Trax" menu to choose where each track is going to play don't apply. Like, no matter what I choose between "Menu", "Racing", "Always" or "Off", all tracks behave as if they were all are set to "Always", cause they all play both in the races AND menus. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Might need help. I can't find the attributes.mwps file anywhere, all I see is this attributes.bin file, opening on Notepad++ just displays random gibberish stuff. Although just the song name doesn't bother me much, I'd prefer it to display the correct song name and artist. Also I do not know if I installed the Modloader correctly, I just guessed and clicked on the buttons I deemed correct, since it's probably in Indonesian, and I don't speak Indonesian. EDIT 1: I installed the modloader, and it seems to not have the attributes.mwps file. I tried installing it on a different folder to see what it extracts and it doesn't extract the attributes.mwps file.

Hey, this is a great video, but when I try to change the song's name in the notepad, I click exit, it wants me to save so I do, then it says that I can't because I don't have permission. How Do I fix this?

Copy the file somewhere else like the Desktop, edit it there, save it there and then move it back to the modloader folder

Your reply helped me out a year ago, and thank you. I had another problem recently reinstalling the game, i took songs from my itunes acount and converted them to mp3, i did the process just like in the video, and at the end when i try to import the songs it gives me the error message: "there's no sample .asf file. Make sure you extract the files correctly, it should be right next to this .exe file." I don't know what to do although I'm trying different things to see if I can fix it, I'll update if I find the solution Edit: It turns out that I didn't have all of the music converter files in the same directory, if that makes any sense, still I was able to get the music converted! Thanks again!

its on the music importer folder.there u will Find ADDONS>CARS _REPLACE>ATTRIBUTES.MWPS open this with notepad. u have to copy the folder in main nfs mw directory in order to change song name.
