This shit was the thing that made me give up on notion. Months later I somehow I managed to make a working board and for the past hour I was trying to figure out what was different with the new boards that I couldnt customize or add/remove statuses and groups... This works!

Actually my problem was to have a new status called 'Paused' (like ongoing, done etc) in my tasks. The easiest way to do it was to go into properties, and then into status where I could add another status called 'Paused' and assign a color to it and voila it was there. But this video helped me figure that out so thanks!

Thanks for this I couldn't find how to do this with the documentation. In an effort to make an extremely flexible board system notion have made something very simple convoluted and frustrating. I literally just wanted to add a "backlog" column and finding out how was a frustrating experience
