sir , i have done everything properly and everything came so good . but when i search for a place it is exicuting onError code of setOnPlaceSelectedListener . is it a problem of api or my code?? please clarify my doubt as soon as possible

Check if you have enabled Place API. Try this also............ Places.initialize(" YOUR API KEY ").... Directly put API key without using string resources.

Sometimes there is problem with Android Studio and the Project. Try with new project or delete some files of project and restart.
