Thank you, this helped me a lot! I bought some thrift store pants but they didn't have pockets and I was able to add them easily with your instructions. 😄

I think I've watch all of your videos, at least since I subscribed. I'd like to see one for adding a side pocket to sweatpants. Also one for upsizing a hoodie. My daughter got me this hoodie while we were on vacation in St Augustine. When I got home, it's way too narrow, and the sleeves are way too long. I can take care of the sleeves, but enlarging the body is another story. Love all your videos and you are a wonderful teacher! Thank you!!

I would love to see this skill shown with the pants, pocket, pocket lining and facing all from different colored fabric. Also stitching done with a contrasting color thread. In this video everything was so similar in color it was difficult to see what was being placed and sewn where. Of course you certainly wouldn't have a usable pocket then. Please slow down some, I watched at 50% just so I wouldn't miss any steps. And your pants look very nice. I do love panrs with inseam side pockets. Thank you for sharing your awesome skill and talent. I plan to watch. more of your videos.

Thanks for the feedback, JoJo. I know, I go too fast sometimes. I try to remind myself to slow the heck down. I also get what you're saying about the benefits of using different colours. I think if I was a full time KZbinr I would do that, but I teach full time so YT has to fit into my schedule and my needs. Whatever I'm sewing that week is what I film! Thanks for watching and keep the good feedback coming!

Very cool. Can you make a video on reducing the neck opening of RTW tops please?

You're the second person this week to ask that! I'll see if I can thrift a top with an overly large neckline. Thanks for the suggestion!

Also this is random but do you do any sewing on FB or any other social media platform and have you ever gone live for questions or anything?
@CatherineSews3 жыл бұрын
I don't really....I use Instagram (cathbhay) to show things that my students make, but I always forget to take photos, lol. And I think I'm actually too shy to go live! Maybe one day. But I'm always open to questions in the comments!
