I use clear acetate as my joining piece between 2 pages = very durable and sturdy + clear so no loss of words or images
@sandracapps55434 жыл бұрын
Sorry if it is a stupid question, but what is clear acetate?
@connieammerman83024 жыл бұрын
Sandra Capps it is a clear sheet that people use to tip into their journal, it’s kind of like a plastic feel I remember in school the teachers would would put them in over head projectors with lessons on the sheets and shine it into a screen. Hope this helps

For those without a sewing machine, it’s possible to do some embroidery stitches where she used her machine. Of course I’d advise using Fabric Tack to gently hold everything together under the added stitches. Just a thought. 😊Annie

The illustration of that little girl and boy pushing the boat is sooooo Precious!!! 💙 I finally found my sewing machine buried in the pile of rubble that shall become my craft room here at some point 😂🤦🏼♀️. NOW to get my daughter to show me how to use it!! After I find what papers I want that are also buried! I’m trying to be optimistic but I’m not seeing that light at the end of the tunnel!! Hahaha

I’m very intrigued (and new to junk journals) by how much personal creativity can go into making Junk Journals but my question is what do I do with them after. My besties aren’t very crafty or interested in crafts so I don’t know who I would make them for or just generally what to do with them afterwards also the paper you’re using looks so cute where did you buy them or are they vintage books you took apart? Thanks for sharing I love your work!
