I was having trouble with the VRoid Hair Merger you made on a particular model- the shading was weird in VRoid. I tried this as an alternative and it worked perfectly!! Just wanted to say there's a game changer unity pack I found on the Booth anyone can get for $3.25 roughly. It's called auto dresser, it's really simple and easy to use to add accessories and such to your models, and skips all of the bone replacements and such. It also transfers over your hair physics as well.

Omg I love that intro. 😂 I did have some questions about the tutorial though. So did you keep the entire skeleton of the old model and is there a way to delete the old skeleton? Could you drop the individual strands where they were on the new model from the old one instead of the whole prefab? I had issues before when importing a model that had hair strands directly in the part of the body instead of where they used to be but it looked fine in things like VSEEFACE and Luppet. I have a model that I’m trying to transfer a lot of accessories made out of hair to the new model so transfer the whole thing to one part won’t work for me. I have to do it this way because Unity hates this model coming from Blender so doing it there won’t work out well for me.

I'm trying to take a PSD file and apply it to my VRoid model. But with how Blender is now, I'm having a difficult time uploading any VRoid model into it. I tried tutorials on adding an extension that allows me to, but it never ends up working and the specific issues I have no one has made tutorials for.

Hi! Thanks for always posting good tutorials. I'm Korean and I don't speak English very well, but your tutorial is very helpful to me. I have a question, I am broadcasting a model made with vroid through ifacialmocap and vseeface by applying blendshape, but there is a problem where a part of the eye texture slightly passes over the eyelids every time the eye blinks. Should I correct the position of my eyes? How can I solve this problem? I hope you forgive me for running the translator because I don't speak English. Thanks!

I'm not really sure to be honest. Are you using the eye bones or blendshapes for the eye movement? It's possible that the eyes may need to be pulled a little bit more inside the head. This would probably require the use of Blender

Are you using VSeeFace SDK? That error usually indicates wrong version of unity or univrm. Did you try with unity 2019.4.16 and univrm 0.66?

I have done this tutorial successfully on accessories located on the chest, legs, etc. But my new accessorie is located on J_Sec_R_Bust1 and it has movement. When I import it, it floats around like crazy xD Should I use the bone transfer to move the bone bounce to the other root? D: Thanks in advance!

Definitely blender. You may need to adjust the geometry other than just by scaling

would there be a similar way to swap the face instead of the hair? the faces keyshapes have been edited through blender and i don't really want to do them all over again each time i would like alternate outfits/hairstyles, so i was hoping to find a way to swap an edited face onto a new body.

Is there any way to do this with "accessories" that are meant for blendshapes? Example being making expression accessories on another model and moving it to a model that has been edited in unity/blender. I'm streaming as I type this and for the love of me cant figure out how to make it work. I keep getting an error when loading the altered model that says "object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I have made other tutorials about addition of accessories. The method is the same whether the accessory has shape keys or not. Check my tutorial about addition of shape keys to accesories for example

@@Suvidriel Okay so sorry for the change in issue but! I got the exporting to work. I updated to the latest univrm and it seemed to work! However, when trying to do the blend shapes- If I do them in the accessory blend shapes then they do not sync together (only my model blend shape will appear and not the new accessory expression) however, I cannot add the material from the accessory into the material list on my model blend shapes. I hope this makes sense! Any help is appreciated!

You can delete it but just remember to clear the renderers
