How to add your employees to QuickBooks Online Payroll

This seems to be missing a step. When I get started with payroll, it first asks me if I've run payroll before (No), and then it asks me "When is your next payday with Quickbooks". I don't see that step in the video, is it a new feature, or is there an updated video?

I am receiving an error that my employee is associated with another employer in QB, do you know how to get around this? I'm assuming there is a way because the employee is about to toggle between different companies in Workforce. Also many people have 2nd and 3rd jobs.

Glad to clear things up here, Cierra. You'd need to send the employee a new invite and they'd have to sign up with a new Intuit account under a different email in order to avoid confusion between you and the previous employer. When it comes to importing employee info this can only be done when converting from the Desktop version to Online. All the best. -Kristina

I need some help figuring out where to go or what to fill out - to withhold more state/federal taxes from individual employee paychecks, so that they have to pay less at the end of the year.

Hi Brianna. You'll want to edit the employee's Tax Withholdings in the Payroll section by following the steps below. 1. Go to Payroll in the left-hand side panel. 2. Click Employees, then click the employee name. 3. Click Edit across from the Tax Withholding section. There you can add or edit the withholding info. Best of luck. -Karey

this is not quickbooks online at all, looks nothing like my QBO.
