How to add your products & services to QuickBooks Online

Can I add a vendor SKU in "Products and Services" and only select "I sell this item" and select the expense account?

How do we assign a customer's part number to our part number? Cust A calls our part XXXX. Customer B calls the same part YYYY. Customer C calls that same item ZZZZ. They all might have different pricing. Where do I put this info? Advanced pricing only addresses prices.. like for sales. We don't do sales as we are manufacturing.

Hi Brandy. At this time, different part numbers can't be assigned to one item. However, you could enter the part numbers into the description and search for the parts for each customer using the description and assign price rules for that part. Another workaround would be to create an item for each part number and add them under one bundle outlined here: (quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/account-management/can-i-add-two-alternative-part-numbers-for-each-product-in/00/479362#:~:text=@eliasdehmes,11%2C%202020%2010:05%20AM). For this error, I recommend clearing your web browser's cache and cookies with these steps: (quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/data-systems/clear-cache-cookies-fix-issues-using-quickbooks/L5tbGRlsg_US_en_US). Then try a different web browser like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. If that doesn't resolve it, try logging in with a different Admin user and contact our team using the options in the link below if it persists.
