Idk your situation so take this with a grain of salt: its better to have a lower clutch engagement point. Im actually trying to get mine lower and the bro in this video doesn't mention the adjustment (point A I think) where the clutch meets the clutch sensor when the pedal is not pressed.

@@___Karma__Just be careful not to lower the engagement point too low. You don’t want your clutch only partially disengaging when you press the clutch pedal to the floor.

A Hydraulic clutch will automatically compensate, though you may find it useful to fine tune the free play regardless

@@Tantium that would only be relevant to replacing the master cylinder, and I'll be honest - I don't know. I'd say with the new one turn the lock nut as far back as you can and just spin it max one way and Max the other and that should let you know. Currently I don't have a new master to test that with.

What do you do if the rod doesn’t turn at all I thought I was normal after installing my new clutch but I was thinking I had free play but no it turn out I don’t have free play.. it is possible that the master cylinder his decfect bought one from hybrid racing

I've relocated the 'no-start safety switch' from the clutch pedal to an area where I use is as a theft deterrent. No such 'safety switch' were installed in older vehicles. Instead, with parking brake engaged (foot 'off' the clutch pedal), you started the engine in 'Neutral.. Fwiw; Starting an engine that's cold and not been running for a couple months, 'pushing down the clutch pedal' whilst starting incurs pre-mature engine wear, particularly on the crank's thrust washers.

Will this fix my hyper extending clutch ? My problem is that when i push the clutch all the way in the car wont budge into gear but if i release it about a half an inch it goes in like butter

It will likely fix it if the pedal is not currently adjusted correctly. If it's an aftermarket clutch, typically a twin or triple disc, sometimes you have to add a pedal stop so the pedal can't go down as far

@@ras4782 the manual trabsmission is the same for all those years but I belive there was only a gear ration change in the 1st and 2nd gear on the 07

I'm having an issue with breaking the 12mm locknut free, when doing so the cmc push rod spins with the locknut. I tried using pliers to secure the push rod from spinning while breaking the locknut free but I haven't had much luck either. I'm hesitant to use vice grips because I don't want to mar up the push rod. How can I hold the cmc push rod in place to break the locknut free?

Hydraulic clutch might be long lasting but they are not comfortable to drive. You get easily tired of driving a Honda with hydraulic clutch.
