Thanks so much, I was fighting the lines on the top of the master and didn’t know if I should take the ones on the issues off first, appreciate you

Bruh such a pain in the ass, but thank you so much for creating this video. Removing the tube at the second point helped a lot.

Do you have to bench bleed the exedy master before install?

I had to cut the rod down and tap it. Was to much pressure for the stock clucth and bent my pressure plate. Went back to oem master.

Is this part really from an em2? I want to buy it but don’t want fitment issues…also if you still have the car, how is it holding up?
@MosWrld1002 жыл бұрын
Yup it’s the civic em2 cmc it’s a plug and play. Same as the old accord cmc but without the triangle failure point. Do some research online for accord cmc upgrades you’ll find people do this swap on accords, tls, tsx, and rsxs

Good vid man. Want to change cmc to em2 exedy of my 06 6spd v6 accord but fitment on ebay says it doesn’t fit mu vehicle. What you think?
@MosWrld1004 жыл бұрын
Hey man not sure on the v6 accords this one was a 4 cylinder but yea it says it doesn’t fit on the accords cuz it’s not a direct replacement of stock it’s an upgrade cuz the stock cmc has a design flaw while the em2 civics don’t have that design flaw and not prone to failure like the accords ones so no website will say it works but you can go to the v6accord forms and see if they used a em2 one

Have you found out about anything? I have a j30a5 07 6 speed and I plan on doing the clutch soon. I got me a stage 1 coming in the mail and I’m going to see if I can upgrade the master/slave as well instead of doing the check valve delete. If not, I’ll just get that done instead but plz lmk.
@amgftwslow75282 жыл бұрын
You could use the em2 cmc
@patrickwinnett79393 ай бұрын
I know this is old but for anyone else that comes here wondering the same yes you can put it in the v6. If you look up a stock CMC and check the fitments they’re for both I4 and V6. I’ve noticed in general with CMCs and Slaves on Hondas is that B,D,F series are gonna have the same ones then K and Js will have the one in my experience

Technician told me part is incompatible. I guess this is one of those "do at your own risk."
@MosWrld1004 жыл бұрын
It’s not made for the accord it’s made for the civic, however the civic one is better designed than the accord one and is more reliable
@christianmartinez5054 жыл бұрын
@@MosWrld100 understood, but the video left me with the impression that the CMC from the civic would be a direct fit into my accord. That was not the case.
