HighsAndLows Do default factory Andis slimline pros cut more bald than lets say Wahl magic clips? Thanks

josabad munoz Yeah; Trimmers out the box should cut closer than a clipper.

I try to set mines up, but maybe I have to try it in a angel like you did.. I did it straight up. Right now it cuts kind of dry or cut my skin a little.

Tony Yeah the angle is key so the smaller blade does NOT over lap the bigger blade. Remember you want to get them as close as you can without overlapping.

When i zero gapped them it actually cut my clients a lot and they complained do you still have them zero gapped?

Eduardo Saenz That means that either you over lapped the smaller blade over the bigger blade or you’re pressing down to hard. Try not to push so hard down when you edge, let the trimmer do it’s job. I have a pair of trimmers completely zero gapped that I use as my hitters such as for crispy line ups and to skin out for bald fades but I’m really gentle with it. I also always have another pair that isn’t zero gapped that I have set up for kids and sensitive areas such as around the neck. If you’re having an issue I recommend you try to get your blades as close as you can then leave just enough of an even gap so you won’t ever cut the client. Hope this helps!
