Are you meaning raise the backrest when reclined? If so you should be able to scroll through the joystick menu and get to the seat functions. Once at the seat functions, use the joystick to scroll left/right until the seat back is highlighted. Once you have it highlighted, move joystick forward/backward to adjust the seat back recline position. Hope this helps!

Would there be a way to adjust the angle of the foot rest farther down than just the screw allows?

There is no other option to angle the footrest. If you unscrew it almost all the way where its still holding on by a few threads and its not enough, that's the best that it will get. Any more than that and the screw will come out and the footrest would just hang down.

The brackets where can I find replacements?

Your best bet would be to contact a Permobil dealer in your area. You can go to Permobil's website and and search for a dealer by putting in your zip code and finding one nearby. Hope that helps!

I don't off the top of my head. You could call Permobil and they would be able to tell you. Their number is 800-736-0925. Hopefully that helps you out some.

How do I get my leg rest back to 90 degrees?

You would go through the joystick to the seat function menu page and choose the leg function. At that point you would use the joystick to lower the legs. Hope this helps!

@@Marcsmobility I have used the buttons to bring the legs in, but the company extended it out. When I turn I’m hitting things with my foot rest now and when trying to use the lift to come up in my home the chair doesn’t fit anymore and the ramp doesn’t close fully. I almost broke both my feet twice now. I want it so I can have my feet straight down again and be able to tilt further back in a vehicle! I have searched everywhere for the information on my F5 Permobil.

If a store ended up making an adjustment, you would have to go back to the store and have them move it back to the position they were in previously.

so i cannot widen the calf pads? my problem is that i need to press my legs together because naturally i have a wider seating position, legs spread more out. so i would want to make the pads wider, or go more to the outside... which i guess is not possible?

If you take a look at the back of the calf pad, there is a track. You may be able to loosen them up and slide them out a little more. Hope this helps!
