Quick question! Is it normal to slide forward and have to use my upper body (arms) to keep me from sliding so much? ? I barely do any weight. I don't want to injure myself. Thank you!

is the pad supposed to be super tight on my thighs? bc when i do it it hurts a lot but if i don’t i can’t seem to get my legs to stay in place
