Definitely something went wrong with your darktable because your histogram doesn't show up. I just can't understand haw is it possible that you hadn't figured it out, it's just so important do look carefully wend using darktable treating images. Don't you use it?

Chill out Joao. As I said, I was so concentrated to make videos that I didn't realise the histogram on my lab computer was gone. dt has an issue with the histogram on Windows. You need to activate all the colour channels to get also the exposure channel. The exposure channel alone wouldn't work for some reason (known problem). Also the next video will be like that (I did these videos on the same day) although there is a section with it (corrected when I realised it). Histogram is important, doesn't matter what sw you use, but, just my opinion, don't be hooked by it. It's all about your feelings and creative decisions. In fact some times i hide it and reveal it only after my editing to see and possibly correct things around. As I said, just my opinion, everyone is different. Cheers

@@StefanoFerro thanks, I agree with most of it, but I think that it is not a problem, it is just like it works, darktable doesn't have a lightness histogram. Am I right, right, or I was wrong all these years.

@@joaovtaveira thanks. Not sure to be honest with you. At the end of the day, it doesn't bother me to have all the color channels as well to make it work. The fact that not selecting a single color channel deactivates the histogram sound like an issue to me. Just my interpretation (of course I may be completely wrong). But once you know the workaround it's fine. The guys making dt are rightly enough focusing on more important things. There are other priorities, new modules coming out. Such amazing software getting better and better. Cheers

@@StefanoFerro I checked on Ubuntu and, as I thought, it is not a bug, it's just as it works but I think it was great improve the histogram and add a only lightness mode in the histogram, I miss it quit a lot.
