Thank you for this video. It's been invaluable. In my brand new Singer 4452 I had my thread bunching up under the fabric and the Singer reps kept insisting it was a timing issue despite that I mentioned that the thread kept getting caught inside the bobbin casing. I checked the timing and it was absolutely accurate on catching the thread at the precise moment with any needle position, and the position of the needle hole in relation to the hook tip was accurate. Your video helped me figure out two issues: the thread clearance and that the little pointed latch that holds the bobbin casing was off place being positioned too much toward the front. Problem solved!

I am having problem when winding the bobbin, and the thread is winding at either the tip top of the black ring of empty bobbin or at the bottom where the screw touching the screw.... Please help

I have a bicor vx1005 Brother sewing machine, and I don't have an instruction book. I've had it for a few years , and I don't know how to remove the barbin case . I tried and tried do anybody know how I can take it out ? it's up in the front where the needle is . I wanted to check it to see if I need a new one or if it need cleaning , anybody have any advice . it's like it's just in there and will not pop out. I haven't used it since I bought it I'm about to kick it up a door.

Oil it lightly, and double check upper threading pattern. Thread isn't getting into tension correctly. Blow out your tensions disks with compressed air in a can. Sounds like they are sticking open with debris stuck in them.

loops on bottom isn't a bracket issue, sounds like its an upper threading issue. tension disks may be sticking open. check inside for debris and blow them out with compressed air in a can.

This is my problem exactly, but I don’t seem to see a screw, only a hole where you are pointing. I have a Singer Cocktail6252. Is this fixable or going to cost more than the machine is worth. Can send photos if needed. Than you.

the thread clearance needs to be a 1/16" or less, just enough for thread to pass. this is tricky to explain, I will look into making a video on this topic.

Whenever I try to catch the bobbin, nothing moves in the cartridge and when I’m moving the spinning thing on the side to bring the needle down, it doesn’t let me go all the way..... it’s a single zig zag 547...... help

It sounds like the upper gear is broken that connects the top and bottom of the 457 machine. It needs a tech to look at it.

It sounds like the top thread is not right. Check the thread path with the instructional manual.

The machine timing slipped out and won't pick up the bobbin thread. See our video "Timing a Singer 750". Otherwise, you will need a mechanic.
