I was diagnosed with TNBC triple negative breast cancer (BRCA1) at the age of 34 and was recommended Neo-adjuvant FEC-T chemotherapy and a prophylactic double mastectomy and reconstruction, followed up with radiotherapy.

Thank you so so much, my mam is having chemo and I’m her carer, so the subcu injections are my job! After watching you I’m nowhere near as nervous, hope you are recovering well, sending you ALL the positive vibes 🧡

Very brave, can't say I could give myself that lol. I'm a nurse so I've given my fair share but I'd be too wimpy to give myself one 😄 You look terrific and beautiful as always! Again your so inspirational and strong! Great to see you!! 💖

Thank you, trying to psyche myself up to do my own after my first one tomorrow (PBSC donation). Fine with needles now after being previously petrified of them, just never considered injecting myself. I hope you're out of chemo and in full remission :)

Thanks but it would have been really good to actually see what has happening if the camera was at the side instead of the front, obscuring what was going on.

Aghhh I hate doing this!!

I only ever administered it to myself twice....always got other people to jab me! The worst one i had was off a nurse in the hospital. I almost punched her!

Hahaha! Actually I get the Zoladex implant too.. so it goes in my tummy (I do my injection in my thigh) ... and the nurse in my GP did the last one... she full on stabbed me! I bled!! Needles are evil....not a good phobia to have when you've got cancer! Haha!
