Thanks!! I just set up my 5 foot Evolution Hoop and converted it to rolling mode. I very much appreciate your videos on all the Grace frames! Having watched a number of your videos, it was pretty easy to get my quilt onto the frame and quilted. Haven't tried hoop mode yet, but when I do, I'll be re-watching some of your videos!

I wished you shipped to Canada, then I would have bought my set up with you! You are the costumer service that I don’t have ( no dealer close to Vancouver). Thank you so much! Your gentle, kind and thorough way of explaining how to use the long arm were the reasons I got inspired to buy the Grace long arm set up.

Great video Leah! I would really love to try a long arm one day! My sister's Mother-in-law lives in Gastonia. I took a trip to visit her a month ago. She gave me a huge load of fabric and showed me her massive long arm. It filled the entire room! She said one day I should come back and she would let me use it! I can't wait! I love watching you work your machine. I find them so interesting!

Wow! She's just up the road from me. When you come visit make sure to let me know and we'll get together!

Hi Leah, I take it from this video that Hurricane Florence didn't cause too much chaos in your area, I can't believe all the rain you are getting. Anyway so long as you are all safe. I don't have a framed long-arm but I am still finding these videos because you never know when things will change. Laura

We're just fine and the sun has finally come out! I'm so glad you're enjoying these videos. Yes, you're right - if you told me even 3 years ago I'd be doing videos on a longarm, I probably wouldn't have believed you!

I just got my qnique 15 r with an 8 ft. Grace frame. So happy and got a lot to learn. Never own quilting machine before. Question......is it normal for the machine to make a squeaking sound? I have oil it.
@LeahDay5 жыл бұрын
Hmm...no, I don't think squeaky is quite right. Squeaking is usually a sign something is rubbing against something else. I'd first try to find the source of the problem. Listen and rotate the handwheel slowly and try to find exactly where things are rubbing. Then call Grace Company or your dealer for more help with that particular area of the machine.

How are you liking your frame and machine? Are you still using Isacord thread? Have you tried glide thread? Just wondering how they compare, and thought you might know. 😊
@LeahDay6 жыл бұрын
I'm loving my frame and machine! No, I haven't compared Isacord to Glide because I love Isacord so much! That's still the main thread I use for machine quilting, both on my home machines and longarm.

@@LeahDay thanks for the reply. I use Isacord as well. I can purchase locally, but I've been curious about Glide.

Thanks for the great tips. Do you attach the bungee cords on the sides?
@LeahDay6 жыл бұрын
No, not usually. I always have the ruler plate attached to the machine and it will bump the bungee cords when it goes close so I don't usually use them.
