My best glow up tip: keeping your skin glowing. By drinking water, eating a healthy diet, getting proper rest and exercising. Of course hair and nails matter too. I work 60 hours weekly to afford my glow up. I say if i cant afford it, then i will work to afford it in the future. Ppl will say Im crazy for working 6 days a week. Honey, im single and not rich lol. Im setting myself up for my future husband. I dont drink or smoke. So i spend a lot on high end makeup. I love morphe and Mac. I wear sewins because of you now. Its a learning curve but i love feeling put together most times out the week. I get lashes, almond nails and acrylic overlay on my feet. So convenient, i use to do shellac on both but it chipped or brakes. I do pastel colors mainly or a nude liquid base with a spring or fall color french tip look too. I invest in bras and shapewear. Im plus size i need that extra snatchness. I just buy what i can afford like you because meduim grade items can make you feel put together too

Instead of blowing money on convenience food or even $10 green juice and smoothie bowls and lattes... buy groceries, prep them, always have a healthy snack on hand. Eat simple and healthy. These are great tips. Some of what’s in my current routine: - Doing my own hair. Temu or Shein hair extensions are decent quality and if you know how to style it and maintain them they will look good - At home face masks using a blend of white rice, okra, carrot and honey once a week - Press on nails - Bought my own pedicure kit from Amazon. A foot bath and a gel polish set. Add listerine, Epsom salt and apple cider and vinegar to your water and your feet will be so soft - I shop at a store called Plato’s Closet. It’s kinda like a thrift shop but it’s better because they only sell quality things. I’ve gotten so many summer dresses, sweaters, blouses and workout tops for like $1-$10. Sometimes they are even brand new at that price People always tell me I look expensive and I love it 😅 If you’re looking to get a photoshoot done and want some professional photos to feel pretty - join local photography groups in your city. There are always people who are looking to build their portfolio and will do a “trade for print” or “tfp” session for free. You get free photos and they get images they can use to build their brand.

Don’t allow multiple days to go by without checking how much you are paying for things. Try to reconcile it daily or every other day. I needed to see this today, I was laid off from my job back in Oct 23' and I felt this sense of relief. I felt like God was removing me because he knew that what I wanted to give myself was not going to be through my former employer. I wanted to do something I was passionate about, not just work because I have to pay bills. I am now starting my own business and I am working for freedom , the money will come because I've made it this far without the 9-5. I just need to continue trusting in myself and get rid of self doubt. That's the luxury I want.

This was great🤍🤍 something I learned that really increases abundance is generosity (might seems random or unpopular but it’s really a game changer) God loves a cheerful giver and it really does come back to you. Generosity as well I learned isn’t an action it’s a mentality. Like do I hold the door, do I grab my friend a coffee when I get myself one, do I stop and help someone who’s groceries spilled in the parking a lot. I absolutely love this! The main things that make me feel amazing are getting my nails done, keeping my skin together, having really nice accessories, making sure my hair is nice, and I LOVE makeup. I can’t afford to get my done nails right now, so I just order a bunch of really pretty press ons. I have a really simple skin care system and I am drinking a lot more water. I’m also going to have my daughter put some faux locs in my hair again. And I’ve added quite a few really nice accessories to my cart on SHEIN and Fashion Nova; I’ve also started ordering inventory for the strip lash business I’m starting. My makeup collection isn’t what it once was,but I’m slowly building it back up with brands that I can afford like MORPHE, ELF, Juvia’s Place, and NYX. I had to do something to make myself feel and look the way that makes me feel beautiful, and like I can conquer the world. My health has become way more important to me now as well.

Through my child’s birthday party I am about to launch the second business and can’t wait to see what happens there. While in pursuit of those ventures I got a promotion at work which includes a scholarship to get my masters. My husband’s business is thriving. He balancing multiple projects, allowing us to distribute a lot of house work more consistently to cleaners etc.
