Just started again after doing as a kid. I find comfort wise that holding the sling shot at 45 degrees, and using the top tip of the fork as a aiming guide seems to be working for me...can u think of any disadvantages of that position. I am assuming that the "up and down" adjustment will be off, meaning not along the Y axis so to speak but more at an angle...but i have found in the past..using the fundamentals and developing good habits in the beginning is probably best.

Hi Dear friend! I want to ask a small question, maybe it's not very important but everything has a reason, a connection to the events / the desired result, which affects everything. So when you buy a ready-made slingshot band with leather or some other material, it will be applied to the steel ball. One side is maybe stickier or brushed leather and the other is a little more slippery. QUESTION: Which side is recommended for fingers and steel ball???

Thank you for making this video. I wish You Tube had of been around back in the late 80s and 90s when I was doing archery. The same fundamentals work for either the catapult or a traditional English Longbow. I was fortunate enough to win five belt buckles from the Texas state long bowl championship. Are used to hunt small game with a catapult when I was growing up I think after watching your videos I’m getting back into it.

Mine shoots way to the right of where im aiming? Like at 0:28 exactly where you're lined up, looks the exact same to me, but my steel ball would most likely not even hit the entire box you have, it would go into the bush almost halfway between the target and the blue barrel target... Its not where im anchoring either, as I've moved my anchor point and SWEAR that the bands are angled INWARDS, and yet my ball STILL goes to the right.

Chris, your videos have been priceless for me. I still have one major issue that I can’t seem to overcome. I use the cheek anchor and the tip of the fork to aim and when I do it hits 6 to 8 inches high consistently. I realize you said to raise my anchor point, but how much higher can I raise it then my cheekbone? Any other ideas of what’s going on? I’m starting to get frustrated.

I recently got a foldable slingshot with locking lips to keep the arms up and steady. It came with a little sight that you can mount on either side of the slingshot. My question is, is it better to use the sight and if so how would I aim with that. Or is it better without the sight and practice without it?
@john_reyes_14073 жыл бұрын
I just bought my slingshot yesterday and I was trying it out and in my opinion I feel the sight didn’t help me so I took it off and got better results im not sure if it’s because I didn’t use it correctly but now I prefer without the sight
