How to Air a Quarter Pipe on Roller Skates | Trick Tutorial

In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to 180 air a quarter pipe on roller skates. Please note my form isn't the greatest as I'm still working on my technique and trying to get the timing right for grabbing. But I wanted to share how you might break down this trick as I had a lot of requests for a tutorial.

Awesome tutuorial 🥰 if you’re doing this on a half pipe do you have to do it right after dropping in? Or is it best to do it from pumping?

This isn't a half pipe. But you can drop in from a half pipe if you look to pump as you drop in and also as you as you go up the transition.

i absolutely can't get how u are turning on ramp! i try it in any way? and i could skate only forward! i'm not invalid, i could drop in ramp, could stall at the edge could pumping. but how turning on inline skates?......

Carving (turning with wheels on the ramp) can be a little harder on inline skates as they are longer than roller skates. Look to lift your toes/ front wheels and pivot on your back wheels when you turn as that will make it easier.

I see so many skaters ride over the coping and then airing (without the 180). I always fall when my wheels touch the coping. Dose anyone have a tip for that?

Sooo I can 180 one way but only do an arc the opposite way....

Ahh then you will need to either learn to turn the other way or arc the opposite. I think arcing the opposite might be easier but being able to turn and arc both ways will help with future tricks. I had to teach myself to lead with my other foot as I like to turn left.
