It works on all types but I find it easiest to do on medium to fine hair textures.

aka2jimjam thank you so much 🌸 If you were going to do a root touch up, I would apply that first, and then go through with the technique since it is a tooth look. And yes! You could definitely do a lowlight or other color between. There is lots of diversity 🌸

Mirella Manelli Thanks for your reply. I’ve got a client with a bit of banding, I want to clean the band first, then use your technique. Can I do all in one? If so, what would you suggest. Or should I do an all over Demi, rinse then dry and then do technique? Really can’t wait to try this though 😍

So I am looking for advice. I like this technique, I have a young lady coming to me with level 4 color on her hair all over would u go rate in and do this or strip color off first?

It is hard to say. This model over all had virgin hair. If your client is looking to be this light from a level 4 color, I would say you need to come up with a gradual plan to get her there based on the integrity of her hair. If it is healthy, then yes. A color remover first would work great but it then becomes a color correction.

I don't know if it's just your camera but this one had a violet silver sheen all over where balayage was done🤔 is that because of the metallic color you added? Your techniques are very different and your color choices but still pretty just diff 😁

Alexandra Salcedo I would recommend anything that is free of sulfates and sodium chloride. There are so many great ones out there, I would ask your stylist what is best for you. Right now I’m loving Kenra snail collection and Olaplex 4,5,6&7.
