The clear really made it pop. I have always struggled with real fire for some reason and you make it look easy. Thanks for sharing your tips and techniques
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
No probs at all and thank you, do t give up on the real fire it is tricky and just takes practice as it’s more about getting the ‘flow’ to look right 👍🏻

This is amazing and any recommendations for an airbrush for a beginner?
@AirbrushAsylum Жыл бұрын
Thank you, take a look at the Iwata eclipse HP.CS or the GSi Creos PS.289 both unboxing / spray test videos are on my channel and you can find links to those products in the description, hope that helps.

You make it look too easy and people like me ( no artistic talent whatsoever) think..........I can buy all the gear and paint my bike!! Then I have to pay someone to fix it, then the wife finds out I’ve spent $$$$$ on the bike and now she’s all pissed off AGAIN!!! I’ll save myself the trouble and ask for any recommendations for anyone in Adelaide that can do a plastic rear fender for me? Happy to have someone learning the game have a crack
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate and love the analogy, in regards to someone in Adelaide ...not sure ? Maybe get in contact with Advanced Airbrush airbrush.com.au and speak with Wayne he may know someone who can help 👍🏻

I would like to know how you use the resin. all my attempts have been not good
@BentAreFredstad19723 жыл бұрын
Really sweet as allways.🤙 Can I use the Trident coloures on all surfaces?
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can it works on automotive, paper, canvas even T-shirt’s 👍🏻 and can be cleared with either two pack or acrylic clear 😉
@richardlopez17373 жыл бұрын
In love with this piece man. Just one question, what brand of paint are u using? And what type? I’m very new and idk where to look in the links exactly and if it’s in the beginner video I’ll check it out rn but yeah man I’m looking for just a black and white maybe red paint for my iwata and not sure what to start with.
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment I predominantly use Trident Airbrush Paint and in this video the candy is DNA Fuchsia candy urethane paint, all are available from dna-paints.com 👍🏻
@hobbylyfe47163 жыл бұрын
Can list all the products you used? Also, can you show mixing them and cleaning the airbrush?
@mikerussell57453 жыл бұрын
Love it, a quick question... why did the resin lift the candy? Shouldn't the intercoat clear have locked it down?
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
The resin is poured on so much heavier than if it was sprayed on so I think that’s what caused it , I usually seal with two pack clear and that usually works fine but I’m still experimenting with the resin 👍🏻
@johnmichaelfornilos87643 жыл бұрын
What is the best brand of airbrush would you recommend for me as a beginner. That can create a better drawing for motorcycle fairings.
@martinsalinas74693 жыл бұрын
Very nice..what's the reduction %% on sg clear 100 thought you couldn't spray it from airbrush
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
I over reduce it so around 30% paint 70% clear and no issue with spraying it through the airbrush (only clears with hardeners are an issue) I use my eclipse with a 0.35 when spraying my inter coat 👍🏻
@richardmelissadennis1313 жыл бұрын
what do you use for a airbrush machine
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
I use Iwata and GSI Creos I also have sparmax Max 3 and Sagola Xtech 100 and 300 👍🏻
@TheCporteous3 жыл бұрын
I might have missed it during the video but why do you add a clear coat after every layer of “candy”?
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
It’s best to seal the candy so when you add the final clear the candy doesn’t bleed to the top of your artwork and basically eliminate all of your hard work 👍🏻
@TheCporteous3 жыл бұрын
@@AirbrushAsylum thanks for the tip. I am still very new with my airbrush and you have been basically my primary source for learning airbrushing. Thanks for the reply!
