Do you clean your paint cap before switching to a new color? Also do you use flow improver for each color?

Impressive as always. I like how you make us think about the details such as how flames look different depending on the source and heat as well has the different shades of black for his head and hands since they are solid rock at different stages of cooling. Your attention to all these details is what gives your minis not just pop but BOOM! Most impressive was the application of the yellow and white at the base. It gave a great white hot effect. Can't wait to see the rest of the detailing on Twitch!

New to the channel ever since i got my first airbrush (Iwata Revolution), I'm finding these airbrush tutorials really useful, so thank you. Don't know if you have the time to help but I want to do more magma and molten effects. Do you have any tips or methods for darker magmas without the bright yellow but without looking dull? Mini, a Games Workshop Magmadroth (to be used in Kings of War) to be precise, but i would also be looking at using the techniques for other lizardy miniatures with scales too. already saw your magma tutorial with the crater, looked sweet. pretty stoked you took the time to reply. many thanks.
