In this video we give you the quick rundown of how to assemble and bolt in the Alaria D.M.B.D (Dual Master Booster Delete).
The ALARIA “DMBD” (Dual Master Booster Delete) is finally available! Current applications include the Nissan S-Chassis family of vehicles (S13, S14, S15 240sx, 180sx, Silvia, etc.) along with the Nissan 350Z/ G35. More applications are coming including GT86 and others.
This setup eliminates the OEM booster and master cylinder and replaces them with two independent master cylinders (Tilton or Wilwood) and allows true bias adjustment via balance bar and optional remote bias knob in the cabin just like a pedal box.
We understand a lot of people want the “industry standard” 6:1 ratio but having the ability to make that pedal easier or harder will now be adjustable by the end user. Depending on application, ratios will be configurable in a decent range similar to that of aftermarket pedal assemblies. We thought this feature was worth the wait and we hope you do too.
Benefits include:

➡️ allows the use of Motorsport grade braking components and adjustment without the need to fabricate mounting/ plumb a pedal box.
➡️ Adjustable pedal ratio provides ability to dial in brake pedal leverage/ feel
➡️ true dual masters which makes front and rear bias adjustment possible (in cockpit adjustment available with the addition of a bias adjustment knob)
➡️ safer in the rare case of a MC failure you would still have one axles worth of brakes
➡️ if running a large cam setup with little vacuum you will not need a vacuum pump for your booster
➡️ better pedal feel for brake modulation
➡️ will pass FD Pro Spec rules for 2023
➡️ No cutting or drilling of the car is required

For BMW applications id send you to MASSIVE brakes. They already make the BMW apps.

Do you know the part number for the wilwood kit I need for a 350z? Looking at this option you have here since ABS on my autox car is getting annoying and is cutting power and locking the steering under heavy braking loads. So looking at doing this opinion of the duel masters to control the brakes.

Hello, We have not personally used the wildwood masters so I cannot say which ones exactly. We recommend the Tilton as we know they fit for sure.

Nice. How long is the setup in the engine bay?

Its a tight fit as you can here in this S13. S14/S15 have a little more room to the strut tower. 8.25" from the firewall mating surface to the tip of the master cylinder.

Do you have to make custom brake lines at that point?

Yes you have to sort out some lines.

Manual brakes will always have a firmer pedal than assisted brakes but with properly sized master cylinders it should be very easy to drive and modulate.

@@MAMotorsports does a master cyl with a larger bore/piston make the pedal easier or harder? I bought a car with a dual mc setup with no booster and it feels like a brick wall....makes me wonder if I maybe need either bigger or smaller bore mc's.

@@stephenwhite5444 typically larger MCs have more volume to move so they are more difficult to press.
